Ezenwa is dropped

Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has revealed the changes he will make in his squad from the one that drew 1-1 with Algeria when they face Argentina tomorrow in Russia. The coach confirmed the return of captain John Obi Mikel and also explained why he left the Tianjin Teda midfielder out of the squad for the last game against Algeria. “Mikel of course will come back. He didn’t play against Algeria because it was not a good moment for him coming from China. Playing two games in four days is a risk for him and we both agreed that it was best for him to sit out”, Rohr said He went a step further by also hinting at a possible debut for newly invited Deportivo La Coruna  Francis Odinaka Uzoho in place of goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa. “Against Argentina we will make some changes with two or three players. It will be interesting to see another goalkeeper. We have to work hard to be better.”

The Day The Rats Came Visiting

Image
Whatever triggered the boldness in those tiny impudent rats had to be supernatural. If they had dashed across the living room or skidded under furnitures as they often did, it wouldn’t have been much of a problem. At least no one would’ve noticed. There are days when your enemies will remember to pour small sand inside your garri. One of such days was when these much awaited visitors finally came to the house for the first time. Before then, getting them to visit hadn’t been easy, due to scheduling issues. I’m talking about those big names who’ve got clout, that parents always speak fondly of, due to their high achievements. And based on the weight of their personality, 48 hours sanitation would be carried out in the house before their coming. Also, a memo would’ve already been passed around the house requiring everyone to be on their best behaviour, to avoid putting the family name to eternal shame. Rings a bell right? Good! So the d-day finally came. There were about 5

Pardon this article if I tend to sum up every Nigerian leader as been pharisaristic, "the voice of the pharisees echoed louder than the jews" hence the falcons cannot hear the falconet- things began to fall apart immediately the founding fathers were relegated and disposed. Yeah! I digressed abit . In June 1979 former chancellor Helmut Schmidt of West Germany made this remark about his country : *Germany is not a world power; it does not wish to become a world power * 🏻 🏻 August Same year General Olusegun Obasanjo said to Nigerians during a tour of Ogun state: *Nigeria will become one of the ten leading nations in the world by the end of the century * . The contrariety that drew a parallel line between this two leaders speaks for itself without been told.🤷‍♂ disciplined, almost self deprecatory attitude on the one hand and pretentious,Hypocritical, and imaginary self concept on the other. Today, we can weigh the large difference between Germany a
