YOU TOO CAN BECOME A POLITICIAN; IMPORTANT STEPS TO BECOMING ONE---BY EARLIER IDEPE

I will try to make this as simple and as easy as possible for your digestion, so that after this article we shall know more of our position in governance and politics. but firstly
do you know the meaning of politics? if No! get this first before we proceed.

  • It is a methodology and activities associated with running a government, an organization, or a movement.
  • or the profession of conducting political affairs.
  • and interestingly a political maneuvers or diplomacy between people,groups, or organizations especially involving power, influence.
NOTE THIS; with the above definitions, let me tell you, if you do not want politics, politics will want...if you do not involve in politics politics will involve you.
As far as you a party to the social contract between Government and the people and by birth, naturalization, by been a member of a country you are automatically binded the social contract... so my friends, you must like politics---i repeat you must like politics.
I hear people say, politics is a dirty game; wait oo!! which other game you know that is not dirty? tell me oo!! if politics is dirty, please go and clean it, some body have to clean it abi?  
If your definition of dirty politics is the fear for your life, or the fear of powerful people, death threats etc. then let me tell you, your believe in God is questionable, you are not a prayer warrior, if you know God do exists and you believe with confidence please fire on jare...NO WEAPON FASHIONED AGAINST YOU SHALL PROSPER! by the way politics is not even a game it is a necessity.
                          LET ME GO STRAIGHT TO THE POINT

  • GET YOURSELF INVOLVED IN COMMUNITY SERVICE: the old elites need to need to be taught modern politics--- help people, let you be known for your magnanimity, volunteer to clean the dirty roads, help clean the grasses, help control traffic, correct those violating the laws.with this you are creating a sense of responsibility which is key.
  • PARTICIPATION IN ORGANIZATIONS: Become member of a rinnig organizations especially NGO, youth Associations, Community groups, even if its Okada riders Union, Market Women Union etc. by this you have created recognition for yourself.
  • HAVE A MENTOR: This is very importanti know you are wondering how can i have a mentor? its simple do the points listed above and expect a mentor from there, it could be an elder, pastor, Youth leader, etc. Just make sure you have a mentor who understand your vision. As a mentee you should be able to consult him or her time to time. Don't be arrogant about this, your age mate, colleague, friend can be your a mentor feel free to ask..remember Matthew 7vs 7.
  • JOIN A POLITICAL PARTY: You can not contest for any political office from your parents house, go out, join a party, let them have your details as a registered member, pay necessary dues, attend meetings, make important contributions, let them know you and yes! We can say welcome to the political platform.
  • GET YOURSELF A VOTER CARD: At this juncture, you are highly advised to get it from your Local government Area, your home town please..that is where you should go and vote, because that is where you would be voted for....ARE WE TOGETHER?
