Gareth Bale's Volley goals made him the greatest substitute in history of footbal

Image
The anticipated Uefa champions league started on peaceful note as both Liverpool and Real Madrid set out on level playing ground until Mo. Sallah got injured, this was expected though, the removal of Mohammed Sallah changed the entire phase of the match as Real started dominance. At the end of the first half saw an even game..no goal, the second half kicked off and that was the real match, as Liverpool goal keeper made a serious blunder that say, Benzema netting the first goal, Liverpool retaliated almost immediately, exactly 5 minutes after by Sadio Mane the Senegalese maestro. The dominance persisted as Bale came into the game and netted a volley from Marcelo's crossing inside the 18 yard box, the fourth goal of the night came from the professional himself again as he made a heavy shot from outside the box, Liverpool goal could do little or nothing to save the day another goal..making 3:1. Bale's two goals could be rated the best in the history of football from a subst

Ronaldo Reveals toughest defender he has ever played against

This will surprise a few people Cristiano Ronaldo has faced and played a number of extremely tough defenders throughout his career. From Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic, Sergio Ramos and Marcelo, to Gerard Pique and Carles Puyol, the Portuguese star has stood toe-to-toe with the very best. While the Real Madrid star now consistently bullies and bruises defenders for the fun of it, things weren't always so easy for him. As a younger player at Old Trafford the-then winger would often find himself on the receiving end of rough treatment. In a recent interview Ronaldo was asked exactly who he would choose as the toughest of all those bruisers he has played against throughout his career and you'd have been forgiven for thinking it would be one of his foes at Barcelona or Italians such as Georgio Chiellini and Andrea Barzagli. But no, when asked that exact question on Spanish TV show El Chiringuito FC, Ronaldo paused for a moment and then, said simply: Ashley Cole. The two faced

Lols: 11 Reasons why Women talk too much

Women have for long been described as chatty and loud mouthed beings. Most of them beg to differ with the generalisation that has been passed onto them over the years. A large number of men have stated they never get hitched to a lady who speaks from morning to nightfall without giving them a moment to breathe. Some men have admitted their wives are professional gossipers who are always meddling in other people' business. 1. They have a lot to say. 2. They want to confuse people. 3. People who talk too much have a lot to hide. 4. That's a trait they are born with. 5. They talk too much to balance out the relationship. 6. They like gossiping. 7. They do it to load off whatever depresses or stresses them. 8. It's the only tool of defense they have. 9. Their voices are soothing and nice to hear. 10. Men are clueless most of the time and need explanation and guidance from women. 11. A quiet woman is a schemer, women who speak a lot have nothing to h

The combination of the Gbegiri Soup, Ewedu Soup and the stew will surely tease and challenge your tastebuds! I know what am saying Ingredients for Gbegiri Soup 150g Black Eyed or Brown Beans 1 small smoked Mackerel/Titus 1 tablespoon ground crayfish 1 big stock cube 1 cooking spoon palm oil Pepper and salt (to taste) Before you cook Gbegiri Soup Ensure you have some Beef & Chicken Stew because the beef for the Gbegiri Soup comes from this stew. Codeine: Useful or Useless?

Codeine: useful and useless side Following the Federal Government’s ban of cough syrups with codeine content, in reaction to widespread addiction, the searchlight has beamed on codeine, easily one of the world’s most common painkillers. The question on most people’s lips is this: Is codeine a curse or blessing? Studies have show that codeine may be unsafe, ineffective and potentially addictive when taken regularly. Growing concern about codeine, which has been used as a painkiller for about 200 years, has emerged from recent DNA studies showing that people with different genetic make-ups respond differently to the opioid drug, which is inactive until it is broken down inside the body into highly addictive morphine. The variability of people’s response to painkillers containing codeine, combined with its potentially addictive nature when taken regularly, led Professor Noni MacDonald of Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Professor Stuart MacLeod of the University o

Nigeria can beat Argentina, Croatia and make history in Russia says Captain Mikel

Image
Super Eagles Captain, John Mikel Obi, has declared that Nigeria can go past tough World Cup first round foes Argentina and Croatia on their way to making history in Russia next month. Just like the qualifying campaign, Nigeria is pitched in a tough-looking Group D at the tournament proper. “I believe we can beat Argentina, Croatia and Iceland, if we really want it,” Mikel said on a special World Cup documentary. “We want to make history, to do well,” stressed the Tianjin Teda midfielder. Since making her debut at USA ’94, Nigeria has consistently failed to go past the Round of 16 achieved in that maiden outing in the five appearances made at the Mundial so far. Eagles thrice reached the knockout rounds in 1994, 1998, 2014. The former Chelsea enforcer expressed confidence about the young Super Eagles. “We have a very young team who want to go past the other teams in the group,” said the calming influence in the Nigeria midfield. “Nobody wants to let the team down.” Simi

2015 Campaign Strategy would be Used again in 2019-- Check out how it is done?

Image
Pictures above showed the level of commitment and help rendered by Nigerian politicians or should I call it strategy adopted in 2015 that won massive votes for the APC and saw Buhari in government, it was a sight to behold, and passion we thought, exhibited by leaders, as we saw politicians helping people to roast corn, frying akara buying tomatoes, they were in every markets, every shops, every eatery, we even saw a politician plaiting hair for a woman, and we would say, the messiahs has come, the saint to change the face of Nigeria political backwardness has come. It turned out to be a total acting, in fact, Nollywood couldn't have been that good to have convinced people and interpreted a role so perfect as this politicians did, they got office and forgot the poor, forgot the people that vote them in, they would splash water on the same poor people, insult them and spit at them. What happens to credit card debt when you die - does it end with your life or land on your loved ones?Nigerians will be scared to read this

Image
What happens to debts when we die is something most of us don’t really want to have to consider. Especially Nigerians, nobody won die but them wan go heaven. But we cannot shy away from it forever.  it’s a topic that causes much confusion, both in life and after death. And it's one that can have a huge impact on those we leave behind. We asked an expert at debt charity Step Change what happens to your credit card debts if you die and whether your family members inherit them from you. And guess the response? Andrew Shaw, debt advice policy coordinator at StepChange Debt Charity explained the rules for those living in England and Wales:  It is sometimes said that 'your debts die with you,' but unfortunately that isn’t always the case. Sometimes creditors will voluntarily write off or choose not to pursue the debts of a deceased person, but they don’t have to. Alternatively debts may be covered by insurance policies – but if not, they will still be outstanding. If
