Ijaw Nation Storms Benson University on her 14th Convocation Ceremony

One of Nigeria's foremost Private Universities in discipline, distinction and grandeur Benson Idahosa University on July the 7th, 2018, stood still for the welcoming of illustrious Ijaw/Izon Leaders to her 14th degree and post graduate award giving ceremony.
The leadership of Ijaw National Congress (INC), Ijaw Youth Council (IYC), other very notable dignitaries from Arogbo-Ijaw in Ondo state,Gbaramatu Kingdom in Delta state,Ekeremor LGA in Bayelsa were fully represented during the joyous day.

The leadership of Ijaw national Congress (INC) honoured the occasion to celebrate the Ijaw youths and more so celebrate  with one of their own Comr. Kuete Priye Noel (Publicity Secretary, INC Western Zone) who bags LL.B degree.
The INC Delegations and prestigious Leaders on sit were, sir(Dr)B.J Brae (Chairman, INC Benin Chapter), Barr. T.A Iwabi (Chairman, INC Akure Chapter), High Chief Robinson Ogunkoru (Chairman, INC Western Zone), Comr. Samson Uroupa (Org. Secretary, INC Benin Chapter).
And also in attendance were Barr.Eric Omare (President, Ijaw Youth Council Worldwide), Comr. Adoulfus Buna (Former National Mobilization Officer, IYC).
Other very notable dignitaries from Arogbo-Ijaw Ondo state were ACP.E.Akeke (Sonester), DSP. Kingdom Wowo (Prince), Dr. Kuete Ebieritei of FMC Yenegoa, Mr Ikuloh Biteke(Snr Immigration Officer), Sobijoh Letimi (Ass. Dir. NSG), Mrs Idhiarhi-Kuete Margaret, Miss Akiri Mercy etc.
other Arogbo-Ijaw Sons and Daughters who bagged dregrees from LL.B and other fields were Miss Sobijoh Iyenbra,Miss Sobijoh Wobuitei, Mrs Anyanku-Oriamaja Gbatoi, Mrs Filatei- Soriwei Paulina, Miss Kiriki Antonia, Miss Okoroboh Christiana.

Super Eagles to be paid their World Cup Bonus

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is not taking chances to make sure the Super Eagles enjoy a smooth World Cup campaign in Russia in June. Towards achieving this, reports has it that the federation is now ready to pay the players the $2.8 million World Cup qualification bonus from FIFA, Wow. According to a top source in the NFF, the federation was already in possession of the grant and are ready to fulfill its agreement with the players before the trip to Russia. “Right now, we are ready to pay the players the qualification bonus. The money is ready and in a matter of weeks, they will get alerts from their banks. “The federation want to ensure the players are well focused, so anything, especially their bonuses and other entitlements are being taken care off,” the top source disclosed.
